Day 5, CESKE BUDEJOVICE—

After meeting up with the Prague billet families to pick up our players, we headed off to tour the Karlstein Castle.

Next, we travelled about 152 km from Prague to České Budějovice and checked into the hotel before spending some free time exploring the town. At midnight we headed down to the city square to watch the fireworks and ring in the new year.
